Next Woman Up: Hannah McNair, VP of the Houston Texans Foundation
When Hannah McNair was asked during an interview what one thing could make the biggest impact through the Houston Texans Foundation, her answer was immediate: girls flag football.
Two years later, that vision has grown into a program spanning more than 80 schools across Houston, Austin, and El Paso, with over 2,000 high school girls taking the field each spring. This past summer, the Texas Fury Texans took it all the way, winning the high school girls national championship at the NFL FLAG Championships on ESPN. Hannah's passion for the sport runs deep — three generations of McNair women have played, including her 6-year-old daughter, whose co-ed team won their league with five girls and one boy. Now the focus turns to getting flag football sanctioned in Texas, opening the door to scholarships and even bigger opportunities for young women across the state. With the sport headed to the 2028 Olympics and momentum building every season, there's never been a better time to get in the game.
